As it’s known, Trance is a very specific genre of music, which has a somewhat limited amount of followers around the world. While in countries like Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland etc. it is getting quite a lot of support, in many other countries it has not enough popularity for promoters to invite Trance producers and event organizers, for instance, the Baltic countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia. However, it’s too early to lose hope, because support of this unique music is growing in Estonia, which leads to more events, but is it beneficial to organizers? How long will it continue? And what can improve the situation? Let’s think!

We, the first departing Lithuanians, met excited at an almost empty bus station during the late evening to travel to Poland, to an event we had been waiting for since the shining lineup was released. Gdansk and Sopot shone like the faraway trance destination we were heading to.
From the early arrival to Gdansk to the extended city weekend, for us, it was magic. Whether we were lonely tourists at the center in the dark morning, between decorated streets or at dawn walking along the river, or when we started small home party. We were waiting for our trance friends to join this weekend experience group by group – the Trance Xplosion Reborn event had attracted the biggest number of Lithuanians arriving to party this year, even some flying here from abroad and trance friends coming from Belarus.
While most of my friends were waiting for a premiere of new Transmission “The Spirit Of The Warrior”, I was waiting for the event which came before, and all thanks to my previous Transmission experience. It was my third time coming to Prague for this music event, and if I go back in time to 2015, it so was different than it was now, but every time it is something to remember.
There are a lot of music events around the world: you may just know about some of them, or perhaps you’ve visited some or you could even be planning to go to one somewhere in your country or in another continent… so you probably thought at least once – “Hmm, how is the crowd in …[that country]?” That was exactly what I did during my stay in United States, comparing club events in Atlanta with the ones I had attended in Europe, especially the one with Ferry Corsten.
After a long awaited 8 months since I first heard of Transmission coming to Asia, I was very excited and at the same time skeptical about if it was really going to happen. It was only 5 months ago, when they officially announced (around early November 2016) that Transmission: The Lost Oracle was going to be staged at Bitec Bangkok, Thailand on 10 March 2017.
Happy New Trance Year!
With 2017 already here, and many new Trance events around the corner, it was now good timing for a new editorial, especially since the closing of 2016 was also a sort of firework time in itself.
But, first things first, on behalf of the whole staff team of Trance-Energy Radio, we want to wish all our listeners (and readers) a happy New Year!
After major indoor festival Grotesque, here in the Netherlands, we were looking forward to the Christmas holidays, a time when families gather together to celebrate and share, a time to get ready to close the year and welcome the new one.
As I write this article, my second editorial, I still think about the best way to deal with all the emotions and feelings I’ve been having since my first one in September. While the summer season was ideal and the summer vibes were absolutely amazing, I now feel confronted with the fact that autumn is quite a different story to tell. Also the fact that middle of the season I’ve got really sick with the flu for longer than 3 weeks, thus unable to put my spirit into the writing mode.
Anyway, September and October have been two amazing months full with huge events, and I was glad I could join many of them.
Three big organisator put together their work and made possible a night that defo wil not end so fast and for sure the sunshine will hit everyone’s face at the end of it.
Three stages dedicated to 3 main genres of music, Overgate Stage as Frenchcore/Hardtekno, Art Of Trance Stage as Trance/Progressive/History and Rockter Stage as GOA. You can choose how you want I think 🙂 All you have to do is to go on 13rd February at Imola not only to race (Imola’s famous for its race history) but to RAVE with Style!
